These terms govern your use of Tagscope (tagscope.atesensoftware.com), provided by Samet Ateşen, trading as Atesen Software, Sakarya, Türkiye ("we"). By using Tagscope or buying a license you accept them.
1. What Tagscope does
Tagscope is browser software that reads PDF files you provide, runs automated accessibility checks on them, applies the compliance dates and exception rules published in 28 CFR part 35 and 45 CFR part 84 to information you provide, and builds reports and copies of files with a document title and language set. Automated checks find common failures; they do not establish conformance with WCAG 2.1 or any law. Tagscope does not tag, remediate or certify documents.
2. Free use and licenses
- Running the made-up sample, checking your own documents and viewing the summary and the first 25 files on screen are free.
- A license unlocks the reports and fixed copies for your own documents for 12 months from the purchase date. Single entity: 1 public entity or health care provider. Network: up to 10 entities. Partner: unlimited entities, including clients you serve.
- Licenses are for use by your organisation's personnel and may not be resold, shared outside your organisation or published.
3. Payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Prices are shown in USD. Where VAT or sales tax applies, Paddle calculates it and shows the total before you pay. Licenses are one-time payments covering 12 months and do not renew automatically.
4. Your responsibility
Tagscope is not legal advice. Which rule applies to you, whether a document qualifies for an exception, and how documents are remediated are decisions for you and your counsel. Results depend on the files and information you provide. You remain responsible for your web content and for meeting every requirement and deadline.
5. Availability and changes
We may improve, change or discontinue features. A license keeps its download access for its 12-month term, including updates for changes to the rules it applies. Files you downloaded remain yours.
6. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Tagscope is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including complaints, claims, settlements or penalties, or lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
