Your documents
PDFs, ZIP files and document lists you open in Tagscope are read and processed by JavaScript in your browser. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see them or the results. Closing the tab discards them. Reports and fixed copies are created in your browser and saved by your browser to your computer.
What our server receives
- Normal web requests to load the pages (IP address, browser, time), processed by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, in short-lived logs for security.
- When you buy, the Paddle transaction ID and the email used at checkout, which our server checks with Paddle to confirm the payment and issue your license key. The key contains the license tier, the entity name you typed (if any), the expiry date, the transaction ID and a short reference.
Payments
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record and processes your name, email, billing address and payment details under its own privacy notice (paddle.com/legal/privacy). We receive order details from Paddle to provide support and refunds.
Stored in your browser
Your license key is kept in your browser's local storage so you do not have to enter it again. Remove it with "Remove from this browser" in the app or by clearing site data.
No tracking
Tagscope uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us for access, correction or deletion of personal data we hold (in practice, purchase records) at the email above, and you can complain to your data protection authority.
